Llanes celebrates with its first Olympic medalist: Aníbal González Anca, physical trainer of the Mexican soccer team

Graduated in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from the University of Vigo, master’s degree in Physical Preparation for Soccer by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, master’s degree in Prevention and Rehabilitation of Sports Injuries from the RFEF, master’s degree in High Performance in Collective Sports by the FC Barcelona and master’s degree in physical preparation in football from the FSI, he is currently obtaining the titles of coach.

He was a player in the ranks of CD Llanes, Villarreal, Real Oviedo and Urraca CF. As a physical trainer, he practiced at Cortinthians (Brazil), Oporto (Portugal) and Rayo Vallecano, to continue his professional role at Urraca CF and CD Llanes, Cimarrones de Sonora (Mexico), Tokushima Vortis (Japan) and, for just over two and a half years, in the Olympic team (under-23) in Mexico.
