Kerian Begasse new president of the Judo club of the Pays de Vitré

Friday July 16 was held theGeneral assembly of the Judo club of the Pays de Vitré. Pascal Gautier president of the club since 2002 has confirmed its desire to take a step back, mainly because of health concerns.

Claudine Paysant, who accompanied her as vice-president during these 19 years, also wanted to hand over to a younger team.

This is Kerian Bégasse who takes over the reins of JCPV. Black belt, Kerian is not unknown to the club since he started to frequent the tatami mats at the age of six.

Kerian is already drawing the lines for his new job.

Job Jarrin, an experienced teacher

Kerian will be accompanied in his new role as president by Mickael Congard, treasurer, Aurélie Morand, secretary and by members of the board: Aurélie Bréjuin, Pierre Mabit, Alain Esnault, Anne Gueguen, Oriane Cherruault, Lenaïg Macé, Bertrand Miedan-Gros, Amaury Senocq and Romain Guesdon.

The lessons will be given by Job Jarrin, 5th dan, seven times national champion and who participated in the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. Job will teach judo, disabled judo, taïso, Brazilian ju-jitsu, self-ju-jitsu -defense and chanbara which can be practiced with the family at the club.

The chanbara wants to be the direct and faithful heir of the fights fought between samurai by its spirit and its realism. The weapons being in modern soft and flexible materials (foam).
