“Insane honor”: Tennis star Zverev receives its own FC Bayern jersey

The Olympic champion Zverev was a guest at FC Bayern on Wednesday. Captain Manuel Neuer had a special present for him.

Munich – Olympic tennis champion Alexander Zverev (24) was the star guest at the official team presentation of the FC Bayern received a jersey for the new football season from captain Manuel Neuer (35).

“It is an incredible honor to be here,” said the 24-year-old Zverev.

As part of the event, he was later to prove his skills as a footballer at a game of legends.

He had brought with him the gold medal he had won in the men’s singles in Tokyo.

“It was an unforgettable couple of days for me. The gold medal means the world to me,” said Zverev, who is still feeling strong emotions after the greatest success of his career.

He wished the Bayern professionals “all the best” for the coming season. He actually looks at all the games, he said as a Bayern fan.
