Honduran Iván Zarco finished last in the Tokyo marathon

TOKYO JAPAN.- The Honduran Ivan Zarco finished last in the tokyo marathon at the close of the 2020 olympic games.

The Spanish athlete, a Honduran national, participated in the last competition of the Olympic Games, in which the Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge he took the gold medal.

The catracho had a time of 2:44:35 throughout the competition, finishing in position 76 of the total number of runners.

Eliud Kipchoge finished on the podium with a time of 2:08:38, the Dutch Abdi Nageey with a time of 2:09:58 and the Belgian Bashir Abdi with 2:10:00.

Honduran representation in Tokyo 2020

Iván Zarco was the last representative from Honduras to participate in the Tokyo Olympics.

In the Olympic joust, Julio Horrego and Julimar Ávila represented the country in swimming, Keyla Ávila in taekwondo and Cergia Güity planned to do it in judo, however a health problem forced her to withdraw from the joust.
