LONDON – Manchester City coach, Josep Guardiola, confirmed that his team had no interest in signing Lionel Messi, who had just left Barcelona. Josep Guardiola said Lionel Messi was not included in their plans, it was seen from Manchester City’s decision to give their number 10 to new recruit, Jack Grealish.
“We spent money on Jack Grealish and he will use the number 10 because we believe in his abilities and think Leo (Messi) is staying.
