Amiruddin Bagus Kahfi again appeared to defend Jong Utrecht FC in a test match during the 4-1 win over Jong SC Heerenveen, Tuesday (3/8).
This is the 19-year-old’s second match after making his debut on 29 July 2021 when Utrecht lost 1-3 to Top Oss.
Jong Utrecht scored the first goal through the team captain, Nick Venema, when the game had lasted just two minutes. Twelve minutes later, Rick Meissen made it 2-0.
Meissen’s goal was created with a header by taking advantage of a corner kick situation.
Until the first half ended there were no more goals created. In the live video broadcast on Youtube, Bagus seems to have started to warm up even though he hasn’t played it yet.
At the beginning of the second half, Jong Utrecht’s game declined somewhat. Heerenveen used this to steal goals. Precisely in the 57th minute, Jong Heerenveen was able to break into Jong Utrecht’s goal.
The goal made the Utrecht players spark. In the 76th minute, Elijah Velland made it 3-1. The goal was created from the acceleration of the left or right side of Heerenveen’s defense.
Two minutes later, it was Mohamed Mallahi’s turn to record his name on the scoreboard. This goal was created through his acceleration on the right or left side of the opponent’s defense which after passing one defender deceived the referee.
In the 4-1 lead situation, Bagus was finally played by Darije Kalezic, coach of Jong Utrecht. In the 85th minute, Bagus came on to the pitch but this time he wore number 17.
Bagus’s jersey number is different from the previous match. In the match against Top Oss, the player from Magelang wore the number 22 shirt.
In the 88th minute Bagus got a pass and immediately penetrated then gave the bait into the middle. Unfortunately, his teammate’s control is not perfect so the ball can be thrown by the opponent outside the penalty box.
A minute later, it was Bagus who snatched the ball from the opponent in midfield. After the ball is controlled, the opposing player makes a foul by blocking Bagus from behind.
Those are the two moments that Bagus experienced in the test match of Jong Utrecht FC against SC Heerenveen.
Jong Utrecht will start their career in the Eerste Divisie on 10 August. Bagus Kahfi and his friends will face MVV Maastricht in the first match.
