Godo closes the second phase of the baseball championship at home with Hotsand Macerata. The match will be held this evening (3.30 pm and 8.30 pm). The challenge on the Marche diamond ended in a draw, with one success for each side: 10-4 for the hosts and a 2-1 win for the Knights. Godo is in third place in group B, with one more victory over Macerata. Impacting the ‘Casadio’ challenge would mean staying in the standings in front of the Marche and benefiting from a more benevolent draw in the Coppa Italia challenge, meeting the third of group A (while the fourth classified will touch the second of the other group).
Manager Stefano Naldoni would like to play the two matches on equal terms and try to obtain a double success, but the decisions on the owners – and on a possible turnover – will only be taken in the morning. The disqualified Manuel Evangelista will return, with the Godo roster that will also be strengthened by the players of the Byzantine franchise of Cral Mattei Ravenna.
