Former Cubs traded players set new brand on MLB

The Cubs gave much to talk about in the last days after trade Javier Báez, Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant on the deadline for changes on July 30. When reporting with their new teams, the three players wasted no time, they started on the right foot and made history by becoming the first trio of players in the history of the modern era in MLB in hitting a home run on his debut with a new team after you’ve been .

Javier Báez: Food

Just a day after his trade was consummated, Javier Baez made his first appearance with the Mets. By the sixth inning, the Queens team trailed 4-1 with Pete Alonso running to first base and ‘El Mago’ hitting at the plate. He waited for the correct pitch and put the ball behind the fence with a tremendous home run that shook the entire Citi Field, as this hit put them down on the board by just one run.

The match had to go to extrainnings since at the end of the ninth, both teams were tied 4-4. The Mets won by leaving the Reds on the ground.

Anthony Rizzo (Yankees)

For Anthony Rizzo, only Friday’s game against the Marlins was enough to start making an impact on the Yankees, his new team, as he hit a 449-foot home run across right field in his third at-bat, putting the score at 1- 0 in favor of New York at the top of the sixth episode.

A day later, Rizzo hit his second home run as a Yankees player putting the scoreboard 4-2 in the seventh inning against the Marlins, a hit with which he became the seventh ‘Bronx Bombers’ player to hit two home runs in their first two meetings as part of the team.

Kris Bryant (Giants)

Kris Bryant arrived in the Bay on Sunday and immediately won the hearts of his teammates and the entire Giants fans, as, in the bottom of the third inning, he hit a solo home run all over left field putting the 3-0 slate in favor of the Giants, who faced the Houston Astros at Oracle Park.
