El Allouchi overjoyed with transfer: ‘Believe me, I’ve spoken to so many clubs’

Mounir El Allouchi has got his transfer. The midfielder of NAC Breda ran out of his contract and starts the adventure with FAR Rabat from Morocco. He has signed a contract for two seasons.

“The reception felt like a warm, no like a hot bath,” says El Allouchi in conversation with BN DeStem. “I am very happy with it. The complete picture is great. Sporty, financial, beautiful city. Not normal, man”, the midfielder does not hide his enthusiasm.

RAF Rabat is one of the three top clubs in Morocco and only has to leave Wydad Casablanca in terms of championships. Last year, Rabat finished third, which means that it will play in the African version of the Europa League. El Allouchi and Sven Vandenbroeck meet a Belgian trainer at his new club. Vandenbroeck played for Roda JC and De Graafschap in the past.

El Allouchi had the necessary choices, but initially rejected many clubs. “I’ve been very picky. Believe me, I’ve spoken to so many clubs. There was always a slight doubt. Either the coach wasn’t one hundred percent, or the president, or it wasn’t fine financially. “This is the best step for my future. The facilities are not normal, man. The complex is big. The army also trains there, FAR is the army’s club and thus indirectly of the king who also lives in Rabat.” El Allouchi concludes.
