Disappearance: Didier Notheaux, the former coach of Le Havre, is dead

It is a figure, a character of French football who has just died. We learned this Wednesday of the disappearance, at the age of 73, of Didier Notheaux. As a player, he had worn the colors of Rouen, Lens and Rennes in particular before starting a long career as a coach.

This, from 1983, will see him train among others, Le Havre (with whom he was champion of D2 in 1985), Mulhouse, Reims, Rennes and Sochaux.

It was abroad, especially in Africa, that he would pursue his passion for the round ball by taking the head of the selection of Benin and that of Burkina Faso.

He was also a consultant for Eurosport France during CAN 2008.
