Dani Alves still has the spirit of young players

Brazilian player Dani Alves is not young anymore as a footballer. The 38-year-old stressed that he still has the spirit of a young footballer.

Brazil has reached the final of the men’s soccer sport at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Spain will be the opponent of the Selecao.

The men’s soccer final will take place at the Yokohama International Stadium, Yokohama. Spain vs Brazil takes place on Saturday (7/8/2021) night WIB.

Dani Alves currently has 43 titles as a footballer. There are 5 titles achieved with the Brazilian national team. The 38-year-old won the FIFA Youth Championship in 2003, then won the 2007 and 2019 Copa America, and won the Confederations Cup twice.

At club level, Dani Alves has won the most with Barcelona. There are 23 trophies achieved with Los Cules.

Despite his age, Dani Alves insists that he still has a youthful spirit.

“Those who know me, know that I have a spirit like a young player. This is my first experience, I will have the same experience with young players,” said Dani Alves on the official website of the Tokyo Olympics.

“Even though I’ve had a big moment in my career, considering it’s my first time competing in the Olympics, I still feel anxious,” he added.

Brazil was the gold medalist in the 2016 edition of the Olympics. At that time, they were the hosts. Dani Alves was not in the Team Samba squad 5 years ago
