The Cesar Basketball League joins the entities that started the sports reactivation. One of the first actions that the sports entity has taken is to visit the different municipalities of Cesar to observe players who could become the new figures of the orange ball in this area of the country.
According to Jorge Núñez, president of the Cesar Basketball League, the massification process also includes the creation of new sports clubs in order to make Cesarean basketball more competitive.

“We have helped with the creation of three new clubs: one is located in the municipality of San Martín, the second in Gamarra and the most recent in Aguachica. In addition, we have visited municipalities such as Río de Oro, Pelaya, San Alberto and La Jagua de Ibirico where we found good bases, which indicates that there is talent ”, explained the leader.
WORKING WITH DEPARTMENTAL SELECTIONS
In order to participate in the different national events that various Cesar basketball teams will attend, the coaches’ job will be to choose the best athletes to compete against the teams from the other departments.

On Saturday and Sunday there will be a call to choose the 12 basketball players that will be part of the Cesar Selection under-17 category, a squad that from September 23 to 30 will be competing in the National Interleague Championship to be held in the city of Medellín, Antioquia.
Those in charge of choosing these players will be coaches Lucas Uribe and Lorgio Vides. The first will arrive in the capital of Cesar from La Jagua de Ibirico while the second will arrive from Río de Oro.
