On the 11th of the second day of the 103rd National High School Baseball Championship held at Koshien Stadium (Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture), Tohoku Gakuin, who participated for the first time as a representative of Miyagi, played against Aichi’s Aiko Daimeiden in the first round. I won 5-3.
Tohoku Gakuin scored 3 points in the 3rd inning with a timely double from bases loaded with 2 deaths to Masao Yamada. In the 5th inning of 3-1 he scored 2 points from 2nd base with Kimura’s timely triple and Yamada’s triple.
The starting pitcher, Kota Ito, made a complete game with three goals, surpassing the counterattack of Aiko Daimeiden with a tenacious pitch.
