The Grand Tour of the Marche on the weekend of 11 and 12 September makes a stop in Camerino to discover the wonders of the city, including paths in contact with nature to experience on foot, by bike or on horseback, as well as urban trekking and all the proposals of the Camerino Meraviglia Days welcome circuit, to enjoy a relaxing weekend embellished by the flavors of tradition and local wines.
(TurismoItaliaNews) With the inauguration of the first art exhibition of the earthquake crater “Camerino fuori le mura”, the university city has reaffirmed the desire to restart that in this historical moment unites the community of the ducal city to the rest of the world. From this idea was born “Restart, the art of rebirth”, an event focused on new models of art fruition, conducted by Alessio Viola of Sky Tg24 and scheduled for Saturday 11 September in the magical setting of Rocca Borgesca. Sunday 12, space for passions with an entire citadel, the Vallicelle sport village, dedicated to outdoor activities: from volleyball to archery, from rolling to rhythmic gymnastics, from judo to traditional sports, such as the iconic tumbles. Afternoon in the name of art and manual skills at Sottocorte art & fun, with many workshops held by master craftsmen where it will be possible to admire, buy and create works of art, including music and shows for young and old. The first edition of the “Torquato Sartori” Memorial, a gathering of vintage cars that will cross the lands of the ancient Duchy of Da Varano, is also included in the very rich book of experiences.
With Camerino Meraviglia Days begins a further challenge for the Grand Tour of the Marche. Thanks to the project partnership with Banca Mediolanum, the circuit of events has been included in AWorld, the app selected by the United Nations to support the ActNow campaign against climate change. Objective of the operation? Stimulate daily behaviors that minimize the environmental footprint. After just 10 months from its launch, worldwide there are already over 3 million individual virtuous shares registered in the AWorld app in Support of ActNow. And in this context, a special “challenge” will be proposed by the Grand Tour of the Marche.
