Antwerp picks 22-year-old American international from MLS | Jupiler Pro League

Antwerp has introduced Sam Vines, a wing defender who comes over from the Colorado Rapids from the MLS. The 22-year-old American signs a contract with Antwerp for three seasons. The transfer would involve an amount of almost 2 million euros.

American media had known for a while that Sam Vines would move to our country and today he was also presented at the Bosuil. The 22-year-old full-back has signed a three-year contract with an option for another year.

Sam Vines was trained at the Colorado Rapids and also signed his first professional contract there in 2018. After three seasons, he opts for an adventure in our country.

At 22, Vines also has 5 caps to his name. He made his debut for the US early last year. Last week, he won the Gold Cup with the national team, which is the championship of North and Central America and the Caribbean.
