Iglesias also hit a home run for the Angels, who have won three of four Freeway Series games this year. He started the 10th with a double on the right-field line by Garrett Cleavinger (2-4) for Jo Adell, who started the inning as the automatic runner at second, to score.

Jack Mayfield, who tied at 2 on a solo shot in the sixth, added an insurance run in the 10th with an RBI single to right. Dodgers outfielder Max Muncy tried to grab the ball over his shoulder, but it slipped out of his glove.

Still, the Dodgers still managed to make things interesting in the lower half. Muncy’s single to right led Justin Turner to third base. After Albert Pujols was struck out, Corey Seager came close to winning when he hit a Raisel Iglesias fastball, but it ended up as a sacrifice fly for Turner to score, as Brandon Marsh caught the ball inside the band at center. .

Chris Taylor singled to put runners on first and second before Raisel Iglesias had AJ Pollock force an out at third for his 24th save.

Austin Warren (1-0) allowed one hit in 2 1/3 innings for his first major league win.

The Dodgers are 1-12 in extra-inning games and have lost 11 in a row. The Major League Baseball record for consecutive losses in overtime in a season is 12 by the Montreal Expos in 1969.

The Dodgers led 1-0 in the first, when Pujols made Mookie Betts score. They extended their lead to two in the fourth when a Betts single with one out allowed Pollock to reach the plate.
