2:15 am: News from women’s golf
You have to furnish while waiting for the canoe, and imagine that the only event taking place at the moment is golf, I think it’s a first (in general, there are at least 4/5 sports at the same time) , it smacks of the end of the Olympics, sniff.
It’s the 4th and last day on this course for golfers, and our two French women are in the cabbage, or rather in the rough. Perrine Delacour is in 18th position (6 under par), 6 strokes from the podium when she only has 8 holes left. Céline Boutier, she is 40th, to 0.
It is still the American Nelly Korda (daughter of the former Czech tennis player) who is in the lead but beware, the New Zealander Lydia Ko came back to 2 shots after having slammed four birdies on the first 5 holes.
