The teams of the organization Clubes Unidos por el Baloncesto Chiapaneco (CUBCH), in synergy with the Asociación Chiapaneca de Basquetbol AC, report ready to travel to Mexico City and face the Federated Olympiad from August 13 to 15, a contest that calls the Mexican federation of the specialty.
CUBCH shouldered the responsibility of coordinating such a titanic work to bring out up to 20 teams, who will undoubtedly represent Chiapas with great dignity in this tournament that will host 28 states of the Mexican Republic and an average of 300 teams.
The entities that direct both CUBCH and ACHIBA, professor Nelly Chacón and professor Jorge Díaz Cano, respectively, achieved this important alliance to gradually bring out teams with multiple activities and where all the clubs belonging to these associations will contribute at least one player in the Chiapas teams.
For more than a month they were working in coordination to support concentration camps in various parts of the Chiapas geography, in this way, municipalities of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Berriozábal, Ocozocoautla, Villaflores, Las Margaritas, among others, were hosting these work week after week, where each men’s and women’s team had their designated coach.
In this way, Chiapas will see actions with teams in the micro category from 2012 and under, children from 2010 to 2011, catwalk from 2008 to 2009, cadet from 2006 to 2007, youth 2004-2005, youth superior 2002-2003, sub 21 2000 -2001, in both branches.
Due to the large number of players and work staff that will make the trip, all the necessary measures have been taken so that each player and coach goes with all the necessary care to avoid contagion by COVID-19.
