US basketball players destroy Argentina and celebrate their first victory in the test matches

The United States defeated Argentina 108: 80, winning first in three test battles before the Tokyo Olympics.

It has already been reported that in the first two games, the team led by Greg Popovich unexpectedly gave way to Nigeria with 87:90 and to Australia with 83:91.

On Tuesday, the performance of the USA was more convincing, and Durent was one of the five USA players who finished by accumulating the sum of double-digit points, adding six rebounds.

Bradley Biel also scored 17 points, Zek Lavin added 15 points, Damian Lillard 13 points, including three three-pointers, and Bem Adebajo 12 points in 18 minutes and 19 seconds on the court.

“We played harder,” Adebajo said. “We turned to the defense and were fully connected to the game. We just played basketball, felt each other and made games. That is our talent. ”

Popovich was pleased with the signs that the US team was strong.

“We played well against Australia, we fought under the baskets, we played in defense, we quickly overcame the field, and we kept a good pace in half of the game, but in the second half it disappeared,” said Popovich. “It simply came to our notice then. Hopefully that is a sign that we are getting better. ”

Former NBA player Luis Skola was the most productive in Argentina, with the 41-year-old veteran finishing with 16 points. Nicholas Laprovitola added 13 points, while Fakundo Kampaco added 12 points.
