German Cano came out of Deportivo Independiente Medellín and a few games were enough to prove his status as a scorer: he has 35 goals with Vasco da Gama in all competitions.
In the interview he gave to Win Sports, the Matador reiterated that his intention is to say goodbye to professional football at the Poderoso, of which he is an idol and top scorer with 129 goals:

“The love that I have for Medellin absolutely nothing will change it, not even money (…) Medellin It is my house, my son was born there. For me, Medellin it’s my life and it means a lot to my family. I have no doubts that at some point we will return, we do not know when, but the idea is to be able to withdraw, I had already said it, in Medellin”.
Before joining the Rio de Janeiro team, the Argentine won the 2019 Colombia Cup title with Rojo.
