The city has mobilized for students

Beaumont. The city has mobilized for the students. The context of health and social crisis has led to a significant increase in student insecurity for several months.

This is the reason why the city of Beaumont, in conjunction with the CCAS, wished to involve the associations of the territory in the organization of a collection in partnership with Esope 63, a solidarity grocery store created by the Banque Alimentaire Auvergne in March 2018.

Several associations responded to the call of the CCAS, the Lion’s club, the Secours Catholique, the committee of the elderly, the judo section of the secular association and the US Beaumont football. Four collections were thus organized between May and June. A total of 1,400 kg of foodstuffs were harvested and thus enabled the beneficiary public to be enlarged.

Aline Faye, deputy mayor in charge of solidarity and youth, organized a friendly time which took place in the presence of Jean-Luc Mornand, Esope 63 manager, in order to thank all the volunteers and the services who invested themselves in this action.
