Taiwan: Judo teacher arrested after causing the death of a 7-year-old boy during his class, photos

A boy of only seven years old died in Taiwan after being in a coma for more than two months due to the blows he was repeatedly hit during his judo class. The little boy was thrown 27 times to the ground.

According to information from the local press, the doctors who treated the minor reported that the injuries suffered were equivalent to a car accident and included a serious intracranial hemorrhage. The boy had to undergo a craniotomy.

After the high-risk operation, the boy, who lived with his family in the Taiwanese city of Taichung, was declared brain dead. Likewise, the doctors warned his parents that if he survived, he would remain in a vegetative state.

The little boy remained on life support, however, his vital signs decreased, so his parents decided to disconnect him. Meanwhile, the judo coach was arrested as responsible for the boy’s death.

According to information from RT, the teacher ordered a 10-year-old boy to practice 20 shoulder throws with the 7-year-old boy. After practicing the maneuvers, the minor burst into tears and vomited, also, he begged him to let him rest, however, the coach continued.

In early June, the coach was charged with causing bodily harm, however, the charges will be modified and could be sentenced to a prison term of between seven years and life imprisonment.
