Difficult times for ex-NBA player Scottie Pippen (55). It was not until April this year that his eldest son Antron died unexpectedly at the age of only 33. The former basketball player announced the loss of his son on social media. Antron was Scottie’s oldest child from his first marriage to Karen McCollum. “There are ups and downs, but I’m fine”, the NBA legend opened up in conversation. He was slowly regaining strength that he lost after the death of his son. At the moment everything is still difficult for him and the 55-year-old has not yet had enough time to process what has happened. But Scottie also spoke of “healing” and “moving on”.

With Antron, the athlete lost his second child – his daughter Tyler died in 1994 at the age of just nine days. Scottie may have never met his deceased daughter because he had denied paternity at the time. Scottie also says he has no contact with Tyler’s twin sister Taylor.
