Senior baseball: Témiscouata wins over Trois-Pistoles

The Braves Batitech de Témiscouata got off to a good start by scoring points in their first three innings, which paid off. The team went for a 4-2 road victory over Bérubé GM of Trois-Pistoles.

The first hitter of the game Maxime Dugas set the tone with a double and an out later, he scored on the single from Dany Paradis-Giroux.

Pulling from behind 0-2, the locals still brought everyone back to square one at the end of the second round thanks, in particular, to Elie Belzile’s double.

But on the third round, Samuel Pearson gave his team a good lead with a resounding home run. The Braves Batitech’s point of insurance came in the 5th round on a double from Félix Castonguay.

The next disputed games will take place this Sunday, July 4. La Pocatière will face Grand-Sault at 1:30 p.m. at Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, Rimouski will face Trois-Pistoles at 7:00 p.m. and La Pocatière will play a second game, but against Témiscouata at 7:00 p.m.
