RFS and ‘Valmiera’ start the UEFA Conference League season with a loss

RFS and Valmiera football players started the first qualifying tournament of the UEFA European Conference League season on Thursday with a loss.

RFS Slokas Stadium in Jurmala with 2: 3 (0: 2) conceded to the Faroe Islands team “Klaksvik.

After a corner kick from the left, the first broadcast through the goal was blocked by Čerņausks, but the most prominent in front of the goal was Wattsdal – 3: 1. In the 76th minute, the home team made two substitutions, coming to the field instead of Zjuzins Šimkovičs and Kevin Frīzenbihler instead of Kvadio. After only three minutes, Zjuzins reduced the difference to 2: 3.

During the compensation of the game, Lipuščeks and Deni Pavlovičs earned the yellow card for the home team.

The answer game in Klaksvik is scheduled for July 15.

“Valmiera” also suffered a loss with one goal deficit, which in Marijampolė lost 1: 2 (1: 1) to the local club “Sūduva”.

Raimonds Krollis scored for Valmiera, but Nikolass Gorobsov and Aleksandrs Gargalacidis scored for the home team.

Krollis responded to Gorobsov’s 11-meter penalty kick in the 27th minute with the same in the 35th minute. The home team had Semir Kerla with the yellow card in the first half, and Viktors Aleksandrovs and Motezs Zadems for the guests. In the second half, the home team made five shifts and the guests four shifts.

Daisuke Jokota from Valmiera earned a yellow card in the first minute of the compensation period, but Gargalacidis scored 2 – 1 in favor of “Sūduva”.

The answer game is scheduled for July 15 at the “Daugava” stadium in Riga.
