NBA market, Brian Shaw to the role of assistant coach of the Clippers

The coaching staff gods Los Angeles Clippers is preparing to be complete. Coach Tyronn Lue was dropped after just one year by Kenny Atkinson, for four seasons at the helm of the Brooklyn Nets. Atkinson has moved to California, to the court of the Golden State Warriors and alongside the irreplaceable Steve Kerr, and the favorite to take his place of assistant coach is Brian Shaw, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Brian Shaw is the coach of the NBA G League Ignite and has led the team to a record 8 wins and 7 losses in fifteen games. Previously, Shaw held the role of assistant coach ai Los angeles lakers between 2005 and the 2011; years that have allowed him to obtain two consecutive titles. After the experiences with Indiana Pacers e Denver Nuggets, the class of ’66 returned to the Lakers in 2016.

Between his coaching and playing career, Shaw has nearly thirty years of experience within the NBA world. In fact, he has played in different parts of America and, again with the yellow and purple, he won three rings between 2000 and the 2002. Now the passage to the other side is approaching, that of the Clippers.
