This tournament is being organized for the 6th time by the Reunionese Badminton League.
The objective of the event is to offer Reunionese athletes a competition of international level after the period of health crisis, which has seriously damaged the practice of sport in general and the practice of indoor sports in particular.

It was during this press conference organized by the Ligue Reunionese Badminton that the regional authority affirmed its support not only at the level of the functioning of this tournament, by allowing the support of the expenses of organization in term of tickets of d ‘planes, accommodation, catering and land travel, but also in terms of the acquisition of competition equipment in line with national and international regulations.
The amount of the regional grant awarded in 2021 amounts to € 8,000.
This initiative once again makes it possible to promote not only our sporting talents, but also Reunion Island as a land of training and a land of champions.
This competition is now starting to be long-lasting, since the league is organizing the 6th edition of this regional event this year and we can already congratulate her for all the work done.
As such, the French sports federations are in this sense, more and more in recent years to come to take advantage not only of optimal local climatic conditions for the preparation of athletes, but also of Reunion’s know-how in terms of organization of sports. this type of event.
