Governor Fuat Gürel, who made a statement after the match, said, “As Karabük people, we are very happy. Karabük Demirkartal GSK came here after a long struggle. He won all of the 9 matches he played here and went from the 2nd League to the 1st League as champions. We know that they have the capacity to go to the Super League. This does not happen automatically. They had a good season with the support of our club president and his friends and the infrastructure support of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. Despite the pandemic, they did not give up their training. As a result of this work, we see this success. Karabuk needed something like this. We need the support of our industrialists, business people and charitable citizens in Karabük. Hopefully, they will be promoted to the Super League and stay there permanently. I would like to thank our friends on behalf of Karabük. They made us smile. It’s a joyful day. Good luck to our club and Karabük,” he said.
