Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced that the county government badmintum team won 3 medals in the national competition and placed 3rd in the team event, women’s doubles and mixed doubles, respectively.
The military badminton team participated in the 64th Summer Badminton Championships held in Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do from the 28th of last month to the 5th of this month, and defeated Siheung City Hall and placed 3rd in the general team team event.
In the women’s doubles, Chae-ran Yoo and Na-eun Jeong advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Yeongdong-gun Office, but in the match against Samsung Life, Chae-ran Yoo stopped the match due to a knee injury and finished third.
In the general mixed doubles competition, Na-eun Jeong and Jae-hwan Kim (Army Sports Corps) took third place.
