Eugenie Bouchard will be at the World TeamTennis

For the sixth time in her career, Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard will compete in World TeamTennis in November.

This team tennis tournament features some of the best racquets in the ATP and WTA.

The Maple Leaf representative will line up for the Orange County Breakers. This will be the second time in three years that the Canadian has worn the colors of this team. She will unite her efforts with those of Americans John Isner and Jennifer Brady.

Last season, the Canadian was part of the Chicago Smash, along with Americans Brandon Nakashima and Sloane Stephens, among others. The Illinois team had reached the final, where they admitted defeat against the New York Empire.

Among other participants already affiliated with a team for 2021, Jack Sock and Kim Clijsters will defend their title with the Empire, Stephens will once again represent the Smash and brothers Bob and Mike Bryan, as will Taylor Fritz and Coco Vandeweghe, will play for the San Diego Aviators.

The next edition of the competition will be held in Indian Wells and kicks off on November 13, with a final scheduled for the 28th. The event expects to be able to receive spectators. However, they will need to show proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19.
