In the 1.25-high test, a “Two-phase” scale, there was a double from Madrid riders. The winner was Álvaro Gil riding “Bondasieri”, in 38 seconds, followed by Iván Conde with “Cadi First”, in 38.23. Third was the Asturian Igos Maestre with “Konain SFM” in 43.49 seconds.
Before the two highest tests, more were held. In the 1.15, a scale “A with chronometer”, there was total Asturian dominance since the top five positions were occupied by riders in the region. The winner was Beatriz Infiesta with “Vivaldi”, followed by Laina del Carmen de Medina with “Malpica do Pegullal” and Sara García with “Entenza do Pegullal”. At this point, but for five-year-old horses, the winner was Igor Maestre with “Sensaciones SFM”, followed by Juan Rodríguez, who classified two horses, second and third, “Graf de Maeza” and “Guy de Maeza”. The two riders are Asturian.
The Luanquín contest also organizes promotion tests of one meter, 0.80 and 0.50, and in which there is no classification. The goal is to get the youngest riders and amazons out of the water. In the one meter there were eleven routes without fail, in the 0.80 route, nine and in the 0.50 route, three.
A total of 108 riders and amazons are taking part in the Luanquín contest. Today’s session starts at 11:30.
