China has overtaken the United States in terms of the number of medals won at the Tokyo Olympics, and still holds the lead in the medals table.

Chinese athletes have won 46 medals in Tokyo – 21 gold, 13 silver and 12 bronze awards. Gold for Estonia was won on July 27 by the team of fencers – Julia Belayeva, Katrina Lehisa, Erik Kirpu and reservist Irina Embriha – in a team competition with a spear, but on July 24 she won a bronze medal in a competition with a spear with a spear.
