The winners of the eight pairs will advance to the Top16.

In the Top16 round, the teams will be divided into four groups of four and will play two round tournaments from the end of January to the beginning of March. The top two will advance to the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinals, the teams will compete in series for up to two victories. The winners will enter the Final 4 tournament.

Latvia has been represented in the Champions League since the first season 2016/2017. in the year when BC won the 5th place in the competition of eight teams in the Ventspils group and entered the first round of the elimination tournament. “VEF Rīga” will play in the Champions League for the third year in a row.
