Canada stops in semi-final of Olympic qualifying tournament

Big surprise with the elimination of Canada in its TQO. France’s announced opponents at the Olympics, the Canadians lost to the Czech Republic. Canada was never at ease during this semi-final. They were seven points behind (67-60) at the start of the last quarter. The premises had in particular shown too much clumsiness from afar (24.3% and 37/9), but their debauchery of energy earned them an extra time. Despite the efforts of Barrett (23 points), Wiggins (22 points) and Alexander-Walker (21 points), it is the Czechs of Schilb (31 points) who will contest the final.

They will be opposed to the winner of the match between Turkey and Greece. And the winner of the final will join France, the USA and Iran at the Olympics.
