Saturday, July 17 in Washington, a baseball game had to be interrupted following shooting outside the stadium.
As the game between the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres went smoothly, gunshots were heard outside the stadium. The match had to be quickly interrupted, thousands of spectators had to be evacuated.
Outside the stadium, three people were shot and wounded, two were in one of the cars involved in the shooting, the third person being a woman who was on a sidewalk outside the stadium.
An investigation is currently underway.
The match will resume on Sunday.
