A (really) dynamic executive will run five marathons in a row to fight cancer

Fabrice Pancrazi, an executive at IBM, will do a series of tours in a forest in Rueil-Malmaison, from Friday to Sunday, for the benefit of the League against Cancer.

It is a pretty pond, in the heart of the Malmaison forest, in the Hauts-de-Seine. A place for strolling very popular with residents of 92, and even Parisians in search of greenery. Some venture there on foot, with family, and the more athletic by mountain bike, with friends. This Friday, from 12 noon, it’s an ultra-trailer that will revolve around this charming pond. Relentlessly for more than 48 hours, Fabrice Pancrazi will run and run again, turn and turn again, and attempt to complete at least 325 laps of 650 meters each, for a total of 263 kilometers. And as this director of training and head of influencers at IBM knows how to count, it is indeed five marathons in a row that he plans to continue. For fun, but not only.

After completing the Diagonale des Fous, the Ultra-trail du Mont-Blanc, the Sainté-Lyon round trip and many other long-term races, this Ile-de-France had made a first ultra-trail for the benefit of the APHP , with 167 kilometers and 10,000 meters of vertical drop, climbed the floors of his house in Colombes, from the cellar to the attic. Result: a certain buzz and above all 18,000 euros collected. Containment requires, the second challenge also took place “at home” on a conveyor belt inclined at 10 degrees, and he was able to donate 10,800 euros to the association Vaincre la Mucoviscidose.

This charismatic 55-year-old guy, who got into jogging late, will be supported in his long and generous effort by friendly runners, ultra-trailers and strangers happy to run for a good cause.
