Allegedly, the French tennis association FFT, the organizer of the French Open, withdrew the British man’s accreditation. Pinfield announced this to his followers on Twitter. “My supermarket appearance, which was meant as a joke, was perceived as unprofessional,” he wrote.
He apologized in emails to the organizer on both Monday and Tuesday.
