World Ranking 8th Ahn Se-young confirmed for Tokyo

The list of badminton teams participating in the Tokyo Olympics has been confirmed.

The World Badminton Federation (BWF) announced on the 9th that 172 athletes in the badminton event at the Tokyo Olympic Games have qualified for the final.

10 Korean players were included.

The future of women’s singles Ahn Se-young (19, Samsung Life Insurance) won a ticket to Tokyo by placing 8th in the Olympic qualification (Race to Tokyo) ranking.

Kim Ga-eun (23, Samsung Life Insurance), 16th in the women’s singles Olympic qualification ranking, and Heo Kwang-hee (26, Samsung Life Insurance), 31st in the men’s singles ranking, will also be on the Olympic stage.
