Wes Unseld Jr. approached by Washington and Orlando | NBA

New Orleans and Washington having fired Stan Van Gundy and Scott Brooks, we can add two more franchises to the list of teams looking for a new coach. More teams often means more candidates.

And for the Wizards, it is the name of Wes Unseld Jr. which is now put forward by the Denver Post. A franchise that he knows well since he was an assistant in the capital between 2005 and 2011. Without forgetting that his father, Wes Unseld, was a legend of the Bullets, the ancestors of the Wizards.

The assistant coach of the Nuggets is also in the sights of the Magic, say our colleagues. Florida officials have even asked their Denver counterparts for permission to meet with him.

Assistant in Denver since 2015, Wes Unseld Jr. has been the architect of the defense of the Nuggets for several seasons and his profile had already interested the Bulls and the Clippers during the last offseason.
