The Varese basketball has decided to exercise the exit clause from the contract with Academy valid by 30 June 2021 with the consequent end of the relationship starting from the year 2022-2023.
A decision that to date therefore leads to a re-discussion of the agreement between the two parties, with the need for the company based in the Enerxenia Arena to review some conditions of what will be the new possible collaboration.
The announcement comes a few days after Ponti’s declaration of not wanting to acquire company shares and that, formally, it does not count for anything on the agreement between Varese Basketball and Academy and on today’s decision which has been the subject of evaluations for some time, but which in the button rooms may have created some cracks in the relationship.
It will now be essential to understand what the next steps that the two sides will take will be and whether a new meeting point will be found in the management of the Varese basketball youth sector that has always been there and will continue to be, vital and necessary for a team. of A1 but which for now, from today, in the 2022-2023 season will no longer be under the aegis of Academy.
