Free sports and activities for all ages, for a summer of health and fun with Thiene Sport Estate 2021.
Back by popular demand, from 1 June to 31 August 2021, in the parks and equipped platforms of the city, Thiene Sport Estate, the rich calendar of free appointments with physical activity proposed to citizens by the Department of Sport and Leisure and created in collaboration with some Thienese associations to rediscover movement and healthy sporting activity.
«We are proud to be able to propose the event again this year – declares Giampi Michelusi, Councilor for Sport and Leisure – which makes available to citizens, completely free of charge, something like over 320 sports events developed in the parks and equipped platforms, which will give life to the Thienese summer. A rich and appreciated calendar of activities, which demonstrates the desire to experience the summer in the name of movement and sport, after months that have proved very hard for sporting activity, although it can be said with satisfaction that the proposed activity from the Outdoor Department it almost never stopped thanks to Thiene Sport Winter and Thiene Sport Primavera. In compliance with the rules, of course, we need to return to living those typical values that distinguish Sport, such as socialization and training of the body and mind, to cultivate that psycho-physical well-being that we all need.».
Among the activities proposed in the edition of Thiene Sport Estate 2021 we find the explosive Silcon Coffee with zumba fitness, breakdance and parkour for youth and teens, calisthenics, yoga and acroyoga, functional training, and tai chi; ASD Santo 95 with the energy of Jazzercise.
Team Sports are featured with Fulgor Thiene for Volleyball, ASD Real Thiene for 5-a-side football, Rugby with ASD Rugby Thiene, Young Thiene Project with basketball playground.
Martial Arts are present in many disciplines: karate with ASD Karate Altovicentino, Aikido with ASD Takemusu Aikido Dojo, Judo with Judo Club Robur, Japanese Sword with Kyomizu Kan Dojo and the Russian System brought by ASD Tiger Club. Yoga is present at the Parco del Donatore with Shakti Center and Dharma Home Yoga, and at the Parco del Bosco there will be simultaneous activities for children and the parents who will accompany them: circus for children, Yoga and Five Tibetans for adults. The Olympic Fencing will be organized by ASD Accademia della Scherma Malo, at the Vanzetti plate.
A special event will be held on 21 June at the Villa Fabris Park: International Yoga Day, promoted by ASD Dharma Home in collaboration with several yoga schools in the area, where from sunrise to sunset there will be free yoga lessons for everyone, for a moment. of serenity in everyone’s day, discovering this discipline.
The Sports Festival is scheduled for Sunday 5 September 2021: after the stop for 2020, the center will be more alive than ever for one day, under the banner of the most dynamic party of the season, with all the vitality that sport can transmit.

Participation is free and open to all, subject to mandatory booking at the numbers indicated on the brochures and on the municipal website, by signing a self-certification of fitness for physical activity and compliance with the anti-COVID 19 legislation, as well as adherence to the instructions of the instructors, in compliance with safety regulations (distances, no gatherings ..)
