The DTeruel athlete Susana Tafalla will represent Aragón in the junior category of the Spanish Judo Championship, which will be held at the end of this month, after proclaiming itself the winner in the regional competition.
The mayor of Teruel, Emma Buj, and the Councilor for Sports, Carlos Aranda, hhave shown this Wednesday the support of the City Council to the athlete of the Teruel Judo Club and they have wished her “good luck ”in the competition, according to the Teruel town council in a press release.
The young woman has stated that “it is a pride” for her to bear the name of Teruel to the Spanish Championship and recalled that he has been training for more than ten years.
He also stressed that he considers that the practice of this sport maintains well physically and psychologically and has ensured that the work necessary to be concentrated and coordinate movements also helps him in his studies.
The athlete attended the reception accompanied by her father and coach Mariano Tafalla, who highlighted the importance of practicing sports and recalled the effort involved in the training necessary to achieve good results in competitions.
