The Shaker will open its season on June 25 in Rivière-du-Loup

The Puribec Senior Baseball League to launch its 43e season, Friday June 25.

The Rimouski Shaker will be the visitor in Rivière-du-Loup while Trois-Pistoles will play in La Pocatière. Two days later, the Shaker will make its comeback in front of its supporters by welcoming the Escaladeurs.

The following Saturday, July 3, the Rimouski formation will welcome Montmagny as part of a double program at 4 p.m. At home, it will play once on Wednesday, three times on Friday, four times on Saturday and once on Sunday, during its local opening.

On the road, the Shaker will play two double programs, Sunday July 11 at Grand Falls and Saturday 31 at Montmagny, in the afternoon, and in Rivière-du-Loup, in the evening.

Speaking of the Cataracts, the league works according to their participation for the entire schedule. New Brunswick’s deconfinement plan provides for the return of free movement between the two provinces as of 1is July, as long as the vaccination targets are met.

In the meantime, the Shaker is continuing its training camp under the direction of its new manager, Denis Côté. The next practice will be on Friday at 6 p.m.
