BOLASPORT.COM – The player who became a nightmare for the Indonesian national team, Nguyen Tien Linh opened up about Vietnam making history in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
Vietnam plays the last match of Group G 2022 World Cup Qualification against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday (15/6/2021).
The team made by Park Hang-seo lost 2-3 to the UAE.
The three UAE goals were scored by Ali Salmin (32′), Ali Mabkhout (40′) and Mahmoud Al Hammadi (50′).
Meanwhile, two Vietnamese goals were scored by Tien Linh in the 84th minute and Minh Vuong Tran (90+3′).
Striker Tien Linh repeated his scoring action against the UAE in that match.

In the first round meeting, Tien Linh scored one goal against the UAE, as Vietnam won 1-0.
Tien Linh has scored five goals during the Asian Zone 2022 World Cup Qualifying Group G.
