Nicolò Fagandini from Rivalta took over from Stefano Bini. He has experiences in baseball, rugby and American football
REGGIO EMILIA. Loaded and motivated to start a new professional adventure in contact with one of the most important sports realities of our city: Nicolò Fagandini, born in 1991 from Rivalta, is the new physiotherapist of Unahotels.
He takes the place vacated by Stefano Bini and he does not lack courage and initiative.
«I graduated in Parma in 2016 and I immediately jumped into sport – he explains – they hired me in the baseball team besides Enza, then I returned to Reggio to help the Hogs where I have played in the past. Last year I was in the service of Colorno rugby, but I wanted to get closer to home and I came forward with Pallacanestro Reggiana; I joined Bini in preparation for the last match of the regular season against Venice, so my engagement has become official ».
The contract made to him to sign by the company is annual, pending evaluation of its work.
Fagandini is aware of the greater responsibilities compared to other sports, but this experience can represent a further step forward in his path: “Coach Caja and the rest of the staff had no problems in hiring a new person – says the Reggio physiotherapist – they are explaining the working methods and I am trying to adapt as quickly as possible. The sporting world is challenging but I have always liked it: it is in fact stimulating to confront people who have made this passion a profession. My relationship with basketball? I was not an ultras, but the results of Reggiana Basketball, combined with those of Reggiana Calcio, were always among the things of greatest interest during the weekend ».
In recent weeks, Fagandini is continuing his work in the gym in via Cassala, where many promising youngsters are also training.
From August it will get serious, for what will be the first retreat with the red and white uniform: «We hope to work as little as possible, in fact it would mean that all the players are in excellent condition. In reality this is not always the case and therefore you have to be ready. I expect a very intense season: the club is young and wants to do well, so we will all try to achieve the best possible result together. My relationship with American players? Baseball and rugby did not all have Italian players and therefore these experiences have already accustomed me to communicate in English – he closes -. So I won’t have big problems in this sense ». –
