Just like the European football championships that are being played in these days, also the 32 Olimpiade was postponed for a year due to the pandemic of Coronavirus. The inaugural ceremony, scheduled for July 24, 2020 in Tokyo, has thus been moved to July 23, 2021, which is exactly one month from now. And just like the European football championships, there will be a limited audience presence (half the capacity of the facilities up to a maximum of 10,000 spectators), but only local: Japan has in fact decided not to open its borders except to the athletes and participating delegations, to contain the possible contagion from Covid.
