Just over a month has passed since the completion of the redevelopment of the basketball court located in the western area and strongly desired by the amateur team, Molfetta Ballers.
However, in the past few days, the structure has been the subject of a vandal vandalism.
As the company explains through a post published on its social channels, a gazebo was stolen, used to allow children and teenagers to shelter from the sun during breaks during training.

With this in mind we have worked, dreamed, sweated and tried to build something for us and our Ballers. Then you discover that during the night someone stole a gazebo (50 euros) and you think it’s really worth it.
The message, signed by the coaches Gesmundo, Maggi and Altamura conveys all the frustration and disappointment for the theft suffered which, first of all, undoubtedly harms young athletes.
“Obviously it is not a question of the value of the gazebo, but of a cowardly and sad gesture that raises a thousand questions – continues the note – We will continue to dream and build something beautiful, but living in this way is truly sad”.
