President Ersin Tatar had an online meeting with Anadolu Efes basketball team player, Turkish Cypriot athlete Erten Gazi.
Expressing that he is proud that despite the embargo imposed on Turkish Cypriots, he is proud that we have successful athletes and that the just struggle of the Turkish Cypriot people can be announced, President Tatar noted that Anadolu Efes basketball team achieved great success on behalf of the Republic of Turkey.
President Tatar congratulated Erten Gazi and wished him continued success, conveying his greetings and love to the Anadolu Efes team and their coaches, the champions of the 2020-2021 season.
Presidential Sports Advisor Sertaç Bozatlı was also present at the meeting.
