In order to integrate the U16 and U17 teams, both the men’s and women’s branches, the Oaxaca State Basketball Circuit will hold the state championship, from the 11th to the 13th of this month.
The president of the circuit, Luis Carpio Pérez, pointed out that the activity will be carried out with the support and backing of the municipality of San Pedro Mixtepec, Juquila, Oaxaca.
Adding that the special thing about this event is that the region of Mexican-Americans with Oaxacan descent living in the United States will attend.
This event will be held in order to integrate the Oaxacan team that will represent Mexico by participating in an event of international significance such as the Centrobasket U16 Championship.
To give the participants security, the protocol that will be applied in the host courts is that each player wears a mask, antibacterial gel, personal sanitizer and personal bottled water.
Carpio Pérez explained that lodging and food expenses are covered by the headquarters, while the arbitration cost (250 pesos) must be covered by the teams.
