The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has announced that it will cancel the public viewing scheduled at Yoyogi Park during the Olympic Games.
Many people are expected to gather for public viewing, and criticism has been raised that it will lead to the spread of infection, and there have been widespread opposition to the pruning of trees to set up the venue.

In response to criticism, Governor Koike said at a meeting on June 2 that he would stop public viewing at Yoyogi Park and use it as a venue for vaccination of police and firefighters.
However, public viewing outside Yoyogi Park seems to be done as planned.
Not dead or alive, infection, or, watching games. I just pray that it won’t happen.
